Carlines Chalet

The Carlines Chalet is an independent alpine chalet originally built in the 1970s but recently refurbished to a good standard with modern kitchen and bathrooms.

On the main level there is a large open plan living room with dining chairs and table and lounge area with TV. This opens out onto a south facing terrace with beautiful panoramic views over the valley.

The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, 4 induction hob plates and great west facing views.

On this floor there is one double bedroom with ensuite shower room and WC

On the garden level there is a large double or twin bedroom opening out onto south facing terrace and ensuite shower room with WC. There is a hallway with storage space and washing machine.

On the top floor in the 'attic' there is one twin bedroom and one triple bedroom with WC and sink.

In the summer there are walks and bike rides straight from your door and you are central to a range of activities including the swimming lake, which is just 10 minutes away.

In winter you have alpine ski pistes in the ski village and cross country ski pistes, snowshoeing, husky sledding and ice climbing a short drive away.

Board Options

This is a self catering chalet.

There is a small grocery store, bar, restaurant and newsagents in the village and a range of shops and supermarkets 10 minutes drive away in the medieval village of St Bonnet.

Policies

Check in is between 4pm and 7pm and check out is before 10am. Please let us know if you will be arriving outside of these hours so we can arrange an early or late entry for you.

Sheets are included but towels / teatowels etc aren't so please bring your own. Cleaning equipment and toilet rolls are not provided although sometimes previous visitors leave these in the apartment.

There is an electricity surcharge of 20€ in the summer and 100€ in the winter payable locally.

You will be asked for a refundable security deposit when you check in of €300 euros.

All self catering apartments, chalets and gites are rented on the basis that you will clean them at the end of your stay. However, you can opt to pay for a cleaning service if you wish. End of stay cleaning fees range from between €40 to €120 depending on the accommodation.

You may be asked to pay a local tourist tax of between 0.20 and 1€ per person 13+ per day.
