International Centre for Physical Preparation at Altitude

The International Center for Physical Preparation at Altitude (Oxygenation Centre) is approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and by the National Education Authority and welcomes athletes of all levels throughout the year. 

Situated at 1326m in the heart of a 12 hectare sports complex in Briançon, the centre is perfectly suited for the organisation of training courses and sports activities all year round with onsite gym and saunas and easy access by foot to the ice rink, swimming pool, climbing wall and other sporting facilities. The centre also has rooms available for ski waxing, ski stockage, bike storage and mechanics.

In winter the ski lifts to the Serre Chevalier ski resort are close by and for nordic and cross country skiers, there are a range of managed nordic domaines nearby, including Vallouise, Serre Chevalier, Névache,...

 There are two separate buildings offering accommodation in single, twin, triple, and quadruple bed rooms. Each room has an ensuite toilet and shower area. The centre sleeps a total of 126 places in 42 rooms.

The large dining room can serve 140 people and will adapt the menu to suit your group. Breakfast and starters are buffet style self-service. Snacks as well as take-out meals can be provided too.

One of the major assets of the area is its climate, which has a dual influence, both Mediterranean and mountain. This preserved environment, where the air is pure, unpolluted, away from heavy traffic and large cities, is a health reserve for visitors.
