We spent 4 days of guided freeride skiing and ski touring on the Meije glacier at la Grave followed by 2 days of piste skiing at Serre Chevalier.
Our trip was organised by Sally Guillaume at Undiscovered Mountains. She was really helpful and the App with all the details of the trip was very informative.
Skinning up to the top of the Meije glacier was the highlight of the holiday - the guides based at Snow Legend in la Grave were very professional and all the equipment was first class.
The Hotel Faranchin at Villar d'Arene, just above la Grave, was a very friendly family-run hotel with great food and a cosy bar. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the owner even lent us his van for our last day to Serre Chevalier!
We will definitely be back.
