A fast developing activity in the alpine valleys and mountains, Nordic skiing is the ideal mix between cross-country skiing and ski touring / mountaineering. It allows lucky users to go off piste everywhere in the foothills of the Alps and feel the freedom of skiing in the wild but doesn't require the technical off piste skills needed for full on ski touring or mountaineering. A local guide will accompany you during the 3 days and tell you about everything you need to know - about the activity and about the region's specifics !

This 3 day / 4 night Nordic tour will take you through some of the most stunning undiscovered parts of the well preserved Champsaur Valley. At the end of each day you will enjoy warm and cosy accommodations where the welcoming owners will cook delicious food for you and your group. No doubt you will want this short break to last longer.

Though only a couple of hours away from the Riviera, you will get a Scandinavian feel for most of the day on this second day of your tour. Ski your way through gentle hills and beautiful forests and discover the many undiscovered parts of the Champsaur Valley. The view over the Ancelle plateau, the geological site of a former glacier lake, is absolutely stunning. You will spend the night in a rustic but comfortable hotel called Chamois, where the atmosphere is nice and the food delicious.
