Sabine and Pascal are the owners of this unique private domaine nestled in between the Avance and Durance rivers, in the heart of the Hautes Alpes with mountain views. There are five independent, wood chalets sharing the large grounds and pool. Each chalet has been decorated with taste and attention to detail creating a cosy chalet style ambiance.
For peace and quiet, calm and relaxing in the mountains, this is a perfect compromise between having the facilities of a busy campsite (pool, grounds, breakfast delivery) and choice of socialising and the tranquility, comfort and calm of an independent chalet.
All chalets are fully equipped with kitchen, TV, and each have their own private terrace, BBQ and sun loungers. Baby equipment (high chair and pop up cot) is available on request.
A perfect location for easy access to Gap, the adventure capital of the Southern French Alps, the Tallard aerodrome, the Serre Ponçon lake, the Ecrins National Park, .... a thousand mountain pleasures to discover when you are not relaxing by the pool.

The Chalet l'Avance is 45m2 and can sleep up to 6 people. A fully equipped kitchen area (crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, 4-burner hob, microwave). Two bedrooms, each with a double bed, duvets, pillows, wardrobe. In the living area, a sofa bed can provide additional sleeping accommodation for two people. Flat screen TV in the living area. A bathroom with a shower, an integrated washbasin and WC.

The Pic de Bure chalet is 45m2 with a capacity of 6 people. La Durance chalet is 43m2 and sleeps 4 - 6 people A fully equipped kitchen area (crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with freezer, 4 ring hob, microwave). Two bedrooms, each with a double bed, duvets, pillows, wardrobe. In the dining room, a sofa bed can provide additional sleeping accommodation for two people. A bathroom with a shower, integrated washbasin and WC. The private covered terrace is equipped with garden furniture, a barbecue and two deckchairs for lounging.

The chalets are rented on a self catering basis but the owners offer a breakfast delivery service so you can have a fresh breakfast basket delivered to your chalet each morning if you wish.
We can also arrange evening meal deliveries for groups of 8 or more people.
There are a variety of restaurants and shops nearby, including an excellent farmer's market selling local produce.

Check in is after 17h and you will need to call the owner when you are near the property so they can meet you (there is no official reception building!). If you are arriving outside of these times, please contact us so we can arrange an alternative check in. You will be asked for a security deposit.
Check out is before 10H00 on the day of your departure and the owner will visit the property with you to check everything is in order and return your security deposit. If you plan on leaving earlier, please arrange a suitable time with the owner at check in for this visit.
Sheets are included but towels & tea towels aren't so please make sure you bring your own. Please note that cleaning equipment and toilet rolls are not provided, although sometimes previous visitors leave these in the house.
Please note the chalets are rented on the basis that you will leave them in a clean and tidy state at the end of your stay. This means: emptying bins, stripping beds and putting sheets and towels in the bathroom, cleaning the barbecue, putting furniture back in original place, putting away deckchairs, emptying dishwasher and putting all crockery away and generally leaving the place in an orderly state.
Please note that if the accommodation is not left in an acceptable state, the owner reserves the right to deduct a sum from your deposit.
The Malcor Chalets operates a no smoking policy inside the chalets.
Well behaved dogs are permitted for an extra supplement of 24€ per night. Dogs are not permitted to go onto any soft furnishings (beds, sofas), must be kept on a lead at all times, cannot be left unattended, and must not disturb others with persistent barking. Any breach of this conditions could result in you being asked to find an alternative accommodation for your dog for the duration of your stay or cancellation of your stay at your cost.
