I just completed my second week- long snowshoeing adventure with Undiscovered Mountains(UM)
Like last year’s adventure, it was well-organized by Sally and we were guided by Bernard, who is so much more than a guide. Bernard takes you to pristine snow covered mountains with breathtaking views and, while encouraging you up those steep slopes, he shares his incredible knowledge of flora and fauna and the rich history of this wonderful part of France. He showed us animal tracks and explained the animal to whom they belonged. Each day I spend with Bernard in those mountains, I come away enriched. I was able to share this year’s experience with several friends who really enjoyed themselves. I am so happy to have been able to introduce my friends to UM and to Sally, Bernard and J.B. We stayed at the delightful La Grange des Ecrins where we enjoyed fabulous meals prepared by the owners, Meg and Jean.
Another memorable experience thoughtfully executed by Sally and her team. I highly recommend Undiscovered Mountains and I hope to return soon!
