Pierrot's house is a large, new house, nested against the awe inspiring Palastre mountain, a few minutes away only from the traditional alpine village of Pont-du-Fossé and its lovely market place. It has a large and luminous living room section as well as a fully fitted kitchen and a bathroom / toilet in the first floor and 4 bedrooms and a large bathroom / toilet in the second floor, making it big enough for a big group of friends or two or three families holidaying together. Up to 10 people can comfortably stay in this very functional house.
There is a big garden in front of and around the house, with enough space to play ball games for several children, as well as a large terrace with garden furniture for nice evenings en famille and an apéritif with amazing views over the surrounding mountains after a day of intense outdoor activities.
Being so close to the mountains of the Ecrins National park, you'll reach many great hiking and skiing spots in less than 15 minutes, and you'll even be able to walk straight from the door to several beautiful walking paths.

This is a self catering house which is located above Pont-du-Fossé, a village that offers a range of shops, bars, restaurants and a bakery. You can drive there in 3 minutes or even walk (15 to 20 minutes to the centre of the village).

Check in is between 16H00 and 18H00 and you will need to call Pierre (the owner) when you are near the property so he can meet you. If you are arriving outside of these times, please contact us so we can arrange an alternative check in. You will be asked for a security deposit of 300€ (only payable in cash)
Check out is before 10H00 on the day of your departure and the owner will visit the property with you to check everything is in order and return your security deposit. If you plan on leaving earlier, please arrange a suitable time with the owner at check in for this visit.
Sheets are included but towels & tea towels aren't so please bring your own, or you can also ask the owners to provide them for 7€ per person. Please note that cleaning equipment and toilet rolls are not provided, although sometimes previous visitors leave these in the house.
Please note that all self catering accommodations are rented on the basis that you will leave them in a tidy state at the end of your stay. This means: emptying bins, stripping beds, emptying dishwasher and putting all crockery away and generally leaving the place in an orderly state. Please note that if the accommodation is not left in an acceptable state, the owner reserves the right to deduct a sum from your deposit. The Pierrot's House accommodation operates a no smoking policy (you can smoke outside). Animals are allowed but outside the house only.
