Located on the 3 hectare estate of the luxury Hotel les Bartavelles, this independent villa is managed by the hotel on a self catering basis (though it is possible to opt for a half board mode). Staying at Emma's Villa gives you unlimited access to all the hotel's facilities (some chargeable as extras, such as the spa / sauna), including the swimming pool, the lovely garden and the tennis courts.
The facade of the house has been renovated recently, but it is the interior part of the house which is the best part. There is a total of 4 large bedrooms (two of them ensuite), a fully fitted ultra-modern kitchen, spacious and luminous living areas both on the ground floor and on the first floor, wonderful views over the surrounding mountains (including the iconic Grand Morgon summit), everything has been designed with taste and will ensure you spend a lovely holiday.
In front of the house, a private sun terrace, a pétanque pitch and a nice garden allow you to feel totally independent and to keep your privacy if you don't want to go use the hotel's facilities.
The Emma's Villa accommodation is located in Crots, just minutes away from the lovely medieval town of Embrun and from the Serre-Ponçon Lake, the largest artificial lake in France and one of our major hubs for all kinds of water activities, such as sailing, Stand Up Paddling, Water Skiing and so on. The perfect place for a lovely holiday for large families, or friends traveling together.

Emma's Villa is a self catering accommodation. You will find an Intermarché supermarket one minute away on the way to Chorges, as well as many other shops, bars and restaurants in the nearby towns of Embrun, Savines, and Crots.

Alternatively, you can opt for a half-board solution with breakfasts and dinners served at the Hotel's on-site restaurant (called La Table de Paul) right next door.
The restaurant - which is Michelin recommended - offers delicious food, all local and seasonal and cooked by the Italian chef Nello Scognamiglio.
Check in at the Emma's Villa accommodation is between 16H00 and 19H00. If you are arriving outside of these times, you can wait at the Hotel Les Bartavelles and, depending on the weather, go for a first dive in the pool or for a hot tea in the lovely dining room.
You will be asked for a security deposit of 300€ (only payable in cash)
Check out is before 10H00 on the day of your departure and the owner will visit the property with you to check everything is in order and return your security deposit. If you plan on leaving earlier, please arrange a suitable time with the owner at check in for this visit.
Sheets are included but towels & tea towels aren't so please bring your own, or you can also ask the owners to provide them for 5€ per person. Please note that cleaning equipment and toilet rolls are not provided, although sometimes previous visitors leave these in the house.
Please note that all self catering accommodations are rented on the basis that you will leave them in a tidy state at the end of your stay. This means: emptying bins, stripping beds, emptying dishwasher and putting all crockery away and generally leaving the place in an orderly state. Please note that if the accommodation is not left in an acceptable state, the owner reserves the right to deduct a sum from your deposit. Emma's Villa operates a no smoking policy inside the house, and animals are not permitted.
