Overview
I'm so glad I went on the wolf tracking trip with Undiscovered Mountains. I wasn't sure if it would be too physically demanding for me, and whether camping with a group of others in a church with no electricity or shower for three days and little privacy would be too much at a time when my health was a bit unpredictable. However, I needn't have worried. The whole experience was exhilarating and we were in good, safe hands with Sally and Bernard, our guides. My 16yo daughter came with me and we saw chamois and eagles, plus the tracks of wolves, boar, roe deer, foxes and hares. The mountain scenery was stunning, the church was atmospheric, we saw starry skies at night and the food was great too. We were with a lovely group of people of different ages and while we were the slowest in the group and found the walking hard going at times, it was absolutely worth it. We've come back feeling proud of ourselves for getting out of our comfort zones and simply buzzing from an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much, Sally and Bernard.
