The Chalet Igloo

The Chalet Igloo is a fantastic group accommodation, perfect for school and youth groups but also for sports clubs and groups.

It has 17 basic but comfortable ensuite dormitories sleeping from 2 to 6 people in each with a total capacity of 96. All dormitories have their own bathroom with shower or bath, wash basin and toilet.

In the building your group will also have access to the 3 large dining halls, a games room with table football, table tennis and billiards, a cinema room with soft chairs and large screen and a disco room with disco balls, lighting and sound system. Plenty of options for some fun evenings during your stay.

There are tea and coffee making facilities available for staff and adults ad the accommodation has wifi. There is an automatic laundry facility in a nearby building (approx 150m away).

For winter it is perfectly situated on the edge of the ski pistes of Ancelle and the winter activities such as husky sledding, cross country skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, igloo building, sledging, snow fat biking and ski joering are walking distance away. Ice climbing, winter paragliding and other winter sports are also not far away.

For summer, it is close to the swimming lake and a wide range of activities including, tree climbing with a night in the hammocks, rock climbing, walking, mountain biking, high ropes adventure, kayaking, paddle-boarding, a night in a refuge, via ferrata, canyoning, horse riding and more. 

It is fully up to date with health and safety and fire regulations and is a certified establishment for welcoming school groups by the French Jeunesse du Sport. We can provide you with the relevant certificates when you book.
