Ideally located in the heart of the Champsaur Valley, the Squirrel House is a newly refurbished house consisting of two apartments that can house up to 6 people. It has a large and beautiful garden surrounded by a forest of pine trees, giving the whole atmosphere a very southern French feel. Both apartments are fitted with modern furniture and equipment and, though basic, they are very comfortable and offer everything one can expect from a modern house.
In the summer, you will spend most of your time outside anyway, as the large pool, the terrace and the barbecue place are perfect features for a successful summer holiday en famille.
The house is located less than 5 minutes away from the lovely swimming lake Plan d'Eau du Champsaur, and you'll find bakeries and other shops less than a 10 minute drive away, in Chabottes and in the very nice medieval village of Saint-Bonnet. In Saint-Bonnet you'll find several restaurants and bars as well.

This is a self catering house. The villages of Chabottes and Saint-Bonnet en Champsaur, with a range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants, are situated less than 10 minutes away from the Squirrel House.
You will be asked for a refundable security deposit of €200 when you check in.
All self catering apartments, chalets and gîtes are rented on the basis that you will clean them at the end of your stay. However, you can opt to pay for a cleaning service if you wish. The end of stay cleaning service at the Squirrel House is 60€. The cleaning service needs to be arranged directly with the owner when you are there. Sheets and towels are available for 7€ per person.
Check in is between 4pm and 6pm and you will need to call the owner when you are near the property so she can meet you. If you are arriving outside of these times, please contact us so we can arrange an alternative check in.
Check out is before 10am on the day of departure and the owner will visit the property with you to check everything is in order and return your security deposit. If you plan on leaving earlier, please arrange a suitable time with the owner at check in for this visit.
This accommodation operates a no smoking policy.
You will be expected to pay a tourist tax of €1 per person 13+ per day locally when you check in
