Just returned home from a week in La Villette, St Michel de Challilol staying at Bathildes Farmhouse.
Farmhouse itself was excellent and hosts hospitality was fantastic. Their little English and our little French meant there was a lot of charade type conversations, but we got there! A French family were in the adjoining apartment and we were invited to join them and our hosts for a great evening of food, and fun 'conversation’ (!) round their kitchen table - it just worked!
We did white water rafting, canyoning, bike riding, paragliding and via ferretta. From the day we booked (six months ago) everything was super organised, super efficient, and we were kept up to date and informed all the time (JB was our main contact but we also spoke with Emily and Sally). The activities were super organised and efficient, everything happened as and when it should.
