The Costebelle is a warm and friendly Auberge situated in the highest village of Europe, St Veran at 2040m of altitude. It is the perfect base for snowshoeing, ski touring and cross country skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. We start our popular ski touring trip in the Queyras from this Auberge.
Fanny and Nico run the Auberge and will give you a warm and friendly welcome to their beloved village and Auberge!
The building is a traditional farmhouse of the region that has been converted into an Auberge and manages to retain its authentic charm whilst offering all you would expect for modern day comfort.
There is a bar and a restaurant and it is a popular spot in the village - a veritable hub of activity! The Auberge is well known for good food so expect a hearty evening meal of local products if you are staying here on a half board basis.
There are nine ensuite bedrooms in total as well as a dormitory option.
