The Ax'Hotel is located in the heart of the Southern French Alps, about 10 minutes away from the biggest artificial lake in Western Europe, the iconic Serre-Ponçon Lake, where we organise most of our water activities. The hotel is just outside of Chorges, a very nice alpine village with a lovely pedestrian centre offering a range of shops, bars and restaurants.
Most of all, Chorges is home to one of the greatest markets in the region, where alpine and provençal influences and products meet. It is held every Sunday morning and is extremely popular in the summer.
The Ax'Hotel was built about a decade ago and it has quickly become a popular address for people looking for modern facilities, welcoming staff, and relaxing holidays, thanks to a range of products and services dedicated to well-being: fitness gym, indoor pool, spa, massages, etc. (some payable as extras).
All the rooms are modern and offer large and comfortable beds, as well as great views over the stunning alpine environment. They all have ensuite facilities and offer free Wi-Fi and a TV. Access to the fitness gym and swimming pool is included for all residents.
Last but not least, there is a very good on-site restaurant ("La Parenthèse") serving delicious local food, which you'll be able to enjoy on the very nice sun terrace. A stylish bar serving cocktails and noble liquors completes the picture.
Please note, the hotel facilities: restaurant, pool and spa and beauty treatments, are closed on a Sunday and breakfast on Monday is from 8am.

The hotel has a very nice on-site restaurant called "La Parenthèse", which serves continental breakfast (13€ for adults and 10€ for children U12, or 18€ if served in your room), and evening meals (every day except on Sundays) with a set du jour menu (30€) and a child menu which costs 12€.

Check-in at the Ax'Hôtel is from 16H00, and check-out is before 10H30 on the day of your departure.
The access to the fitness gym and pool is included for all residents. Other services and products (massages, spa, etc.) are payable as extras. A "care card" is available to buy at the front desk if you want to make well-being part of your stay there. Please note the pool, spa and beauty treatments are not available on Sundays.
The hotel operates a no smoking policy inside.
Pets are allowed (not more than 2) for a 10€/day fee.
