Overview
I can honestly say that this was the best family holiday we have ever had! We normally drag our daughter up to the beaches and mountains of the Scottish Highlands for our holidays, but for summer 2020, we let her choose exactly the type of holiday that SHE wanted (she was 11 at the time). She wanted an activity holiday, and we are so glad that a Google search led us to Sally and the team. We had such an amazing week in absolutely stunning surroundings.
Our self-catering accommodation (Bathilde’s Farmhouse) was spacious, comfortable and peaceful - and in a gorgeous location, surrounded by mountains. The hosts were extremely welcoming too.
Everything was so well organised from start to finish - from the excitement of choosing our activities back at home, to using the app while we were there. All the planning and the logistics were totally stress-free.
And of course all the activities were just brilliant, but the highlights for me were kayaking down the rapids of La Durance and the breathtaking hike in the Parc National des Ecrins up to the Refuge de Pigeonnier. Our overnight stay there was just magical - so very special.
As you’ve probably guessed, I would highly recommend booking a trip with Undiscovered Mountains! So many wonderful experiences and such great memories. And just so delightful to discover a beautiful corner of the French Alps which we hadn't been to before. Book now!
