Built in 2021, this newly built chalet with unrivalled mountain views from every window in the living space, is the perfect Alpine retreat.
The main chalet consists of a large cathedral open plan living area with fully equipped modern kitchen, wood pellet stove, dining area and cosy lounge all looking out over the mountains with large, south facing sun terrace. On the terrace is a private 2 person spa available for exclusive use on option for a supplement of 150€ per rental (max 1 week)
There are three bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and two with twin beds that can be joined together to make a large 180cm bed. There is a stylish modern bathroom with walk in shower and double basin and a separate toilet.
The chalet has been decorated with a mix of recycled wood and modern furnishings to create a contemporary chalet style inline with the owner's ecological credentials.
The chalet is situated on the top of a ridge in the village of Jarjayes, one of the villages on the perched village circuit in the Hautes Alpes. Within easy access you have mountains, the Serre Ponçon lake, Tallard and the town of Gap all in close proximity. The village itself is quiet and peaceful with many walks, road cycling and mountain biking straight from the door!
In the winter there are a variety of ski resorts and winter activities accessible with a short drive and of course you can snowshoe, sledge and build a snowman straight from the door!

The chalet is non-smoking.
Check in is between 16h and 20h and takes place in the welcome area, in the house next door.
You will be asked for a security deposit of 600€ (only payable in cash or cheque).
Check out is before 10H00 on the day of your departure and the owner will visit the property with you to check everything is in order and return your security deposit. If you plan on leaving earlier, please arrange a suitable time with the owner at check in for this visit.
Sheets and towels are included. A cleaning service and change of linen is available mid week and a cleaning kit is also provided.
Please note that all self catering accommodations are rented on the basis that you will leave them in a tidy state at the end of your stay. This means: emptying bins, stripping beds, emptying dishwasher and putting all crockery away and generally leaving the place in an orderly state. Please note that if the accommodation is not left in an acceptable state, the owner reserves the right to deduct a sum from your deposit.
Please note that the use of the spa is subject to specific rules (shower before use, no food or drinks in the tub) and that a fee of 300€ can be applied if these rules have not been respected.
