£: Excellent commission rates with unlimited earning potential.

This is an exciting and rewarding role for an experienced sales representative with a passion for the mountains.

We are looking for two self motivated, dynamic and committed individuals for our UK sales team.

You will be selling activity trips to groups, individuals and other like-minded, outdoor loving clients using existing leads and from self generated leads.

You are intelligent, articulate and have good initiative, love the chase of a sale and the reward of closing it! You are willing to put in that extra mile to close a deal and won’t mind answering an email or call at any time of the day (within reason!) to achieve your goals. You enjoy the challenge and rewards of a commission only arrangement.

You enjoy the flexibility of working independently from home and have the self discipline and time management skills to do this effectively.

You are brimming with creative and innovative ideas to generate new leads and have the tenacity and skills to see them through to the end.

You have a passion for the outdoors and have a soft spot for France, the Alps and the Pyrenees.

You probably participate in some type of outdoor sport like hiking, kayaking, biking, climbing … and will relish in the opportunity to share this passion with potential clients.

With support from head office, you will be able to focus on selling to notch up your commissions safe in the knowledge that you are selling your clients a top quality trip and experience of a lifetime.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Choose the right holiday solutions for your clients’ requirements.
  • Take client through process from initial enquiry to closing the sale.
  • Achieve conversion targets from existing leads
  • Administration of sales
  • Generate new leads
  • Come up with creative, cost efficient ideas to generate new leads and sales and implement them including but not exclusive to:
    • Writing content for newsletters and other promotional material.
    • Competitions
    • Targeted flyer distribution
    • Setting up reciprocal partnerships with relevant organizations.
    • Creating and giving presentations to clubs, groups and other bodies.
  • Participate in social media campaigns managed from head office.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Proven sales experience with experience in the tourism or outdoor industry.
  • A good eye for detail
  • Advanced computer literacy and competence in word, excel, powerpoint, photoshop or other photo processing software, imovie or final cut pro and google apps and mailchimp.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Initiative and flexibility
  • Ability to work on own with good time management skills.
  • Spoken French
  • A knowledge of the Alps and ideally the Pyrenees
  • A knowledge of a range of outdoor activities from ski touring to paragliding.
  • A full clean driving license.
