Auberge Orcieres

A fully renovated upmarket hostel auberge, the Auberge Orcières offers comfort and amazing views over the surrounding mountains to its occupants. It has a total of 13 rooms, all ensuite and equipped with comfortable beds and Italian showers. There are two types of rooms, a triple room with 3 single beds or a family room with a double and two single beds. Some rooms have a private terrace.

All meals are available in the auberge, served either in the restaurant or bar section or on the outside terrace where you’ll be able to soak up the great alpine sun and breathe pure mountain air.

There is a cosy lounge with library and board games available for all residents with a kettle and microwave at your disposition.

The auberge is perfectly located at the end of the valley right next to cross country ski pistes and with a free shuttle to the resort of Orcières 1850 for winter fun. The manager of the Auberge used to manage and build ice rinks and is a connoisseur of all things ice, and often amuses himself creating ice sculptures in the winter! When conditions permit, there are igloos built onsite, which you can sleep in.

The site also boasts an outside hot tub and sauna, perfect for warming yourself up after a day in the snow and ice!

In summer there is a lake and water games for the kids as well as trampolines, paintball and other outdoor games.

It is a 10 minute drive away from Pont-du-Fossé, where you’ll find several shops, boutiques and restaurants, and a 5 minute drive away from the village of Orcières, a beautiful and traditional mountain village and the entrance gate to the awe inspiring Prapic Valley.
