This is a lovely independent wood chalet situated in a little mountain hamlet just under the resort of Orcières (the resort is 5 kilometres away and a free shuttle up to the resort is available just 1 kilometre away).
It has been built with environmentally friendly materials and is heated by a wood granule burner. The chalet is on two levels and sleeps 6. The entrance is on the ground floor and there is an open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave) and a lounge area with TV and DVD player. There is a twin bedroom and a shower room with toilet.The washing machine is in the shower room.
On the first floor there are two twin bedrooms, and another room with a double sofa bed, a bathroom and toilet. Please note that the twin beds can be joined together to make a double bed.
Outside, there is a large south facing terrace with garden furniture and an equipment room for skis. In the garden there are children's swings in the summer. The views over the surrounding mountains of the Ecrins National Park are spectacular.
The chalet is perfectly located for access to ski touring, snowshoeing, skiing and other winter activities in the winter and is a great base for mountain-biking, walking, climbing and paragliding in the summer.

This is a self catering chalet.
There are a full range of local shops, a supermarket and restaurants in the ski resort of Orcières 1850 (5 kilometers away), which also hosts a regular market every Thursday morning.

Check in is between 16H00 and 18H00 and you will need to call the owner when you are near the chalet so she can meet you. If you are arriving outside of these times, please contact us so we can arrange an alternative check in. Check out is before 10H00 on the day of departure.

When you check in, you will be asked for a refundable security deposit of 500€. This sum will be returned to you on your departure day on the condition that nothing has been damaged or broken in the accommodation.
All self catering accommodations are rented on the basis that you will leave them in a tidy state at the end of your stay. This means emptying bins, stripping beds, emptying dishwasher and putting all crockery away and generally leaving the place in an orderly state.
If the chalet is not left in an acceptable state, the owner reserves the right to deduct a sum from your deposit.
Pets are allowed in the chalet but must be clean and properly house trained.
