These two unique eco-chalets are made completely from logs and are located between Chorges and Réallon, two lovely villages with amazing views over the iconic Serre-Ponçon Lake and its surroundings. Staying in one of these chalets, you'll be about 10-15 minutes away from either the Baie de Chanteloube or the Baie St Michel, two of our major hubs for water activities of all kinds!
Both chalets offer a spacious and luminous interior as well as three bedrooms on the first floor - enough space for a very comfortable stay with a party of up to 6 people. And that's not to mention the garden, which surrounds both chalets and are exceptionally quiet places. The perfect spot for a relaxing holiday or a friendly barbecue on one of these long and warm summer evenings!
Both chalets have been built about 10 years ago, but Guy, the owner (who lives in a house nearby) is constantly working on them and maintaining the equipment up to date. The kitchen and bathroom in each of the chalets are therefore fully-fitted and very modern. If you have any questions or need any local recommendations, Guy is a very hospitable person and he'll be happy to help and share his knowledge of the area!
All the bedrooms are very cosy (everything around you is just wood!), and the views from the windows are really spectacular. In each chalet, there are two toilets and one bathroom with shower.
The Log Chalets are a great location for both the winter and the summer. In the summer in particular, the access to the Serre-Ponçon Lake and all the activities we organise there is both quick and easy, but you're also close to the Durance River (one of our favourite spots for white water rafting and hydrospeed) and not too far from the Champsaur Valley (half hour drive) where we organise lots of other activities.

This spacious wooden chalet offers amazing views over the surrounding mountains, a quiet garden, a fully-fitted kitchen, a luminous dining room and 3 bedrooms on the first floor than can comfortably house up to 6 people. One bathroom and 2 toilets complete the picture.

This wooden chalet is the oldest of the two Log Chalets. It offers the same configuration, with a lovely, quiet garden surrounding the house, beautiful views over the surrounding alpine environment, a spacious kitchen and living room section on the ground floor, and 3 bedrooms that can comfortably house up to 6 people on the first floor. The equipment in both the kitchen and the bathroom has been renewed recently.

The Log Chalets are self catering accommodations.
You have a range of supermarkets, shops and restaurants a couple of miles away only, in Chorges. Chorges is also home to one of the greatest summer markets in the region, held in the town on Sunday morning.

Check in at the Log Chalet is between 16H00 and 19H00 on Saturdays. You will need to contact the owner on the day you travel to agree on a meeting time. If you are arriving outside of these times, please contact us so we can arrange an alternative check in. You will be asked for a security deposit of 200€ (only payable in cash)
Check out is before 10H30 on the day of your departure and the owner will visit the property with you to check everything is in order and return your security deposit. Please note that all self catering accommodations are rented on the basis that you will leave them in a tidy state at the end of your stay. This means: emptying bins, stripping beds, emptying dishwasher and putting all crockery away and generally leaving the place in an orderly state. If the accommodation is not left in an acceptable state, the owner reserves the right to deduct a sum from your deposit.
Bedding is included at the Log Chalet accommodations but towels and tea towels are not. You can either bring your own or ask the owner to provide them (a set of towels costs 5€ per person for the whole week).
Please note that smoking (inside) and pets are not allowed at the Log Chalets.
