The adventure part : test your head for heights on a via ferrata, jump into clear alpine pools canyoning and ride the rugged Alps on an electric mountain bike! The perfect combination to experience the best of the Alps and get your adrenalin fix!
The culture part : make the most of the longest day of the year at the annual midsummer music festival of Gap. Every town in France celebrates the 21 June with a national music festival and Gap is no exception! This is a fabulous event drawing crowds from all around with live music concerts, street theatre and dance shows from professional high level performers as well as local dance and music schools.

Your trip is based in the pretty Alpine town of Gap which you can get to by plane, train, bus or car!
BY TRAIN / BUS:
Gap has a local SNCF train station. There are direct train and bus links to Gap from Grenoble TGV station there is also an overnight sleeper train from Paris to Gap.
There is also a regular coach service which operates from Aix-en-Provence TGV directly to Gap.
You can plan your train journey using the Oui SNCF website. This works from all major European cities.
BY PLANE:
The nearest airpots are Marseille and Grenoble. From Marseille airport there is a regular coach service directly to Gap every two and a half hours. Look at times tables. From Grenoble you would need to get the airport shuttle to the train station and then a train or bus from Grenoble to Gap.
