Chamois Hotel

Situated in the heart of the alpine village of Ancelle, this comfortable family-run hotel has been completely renovated inside in a cosy alpine style.

It has a large private garden and a pool (summer only) with mountain views for those hot summer days.

The rooms are quite basic but they are clean and comfortable and there are a range of double and family rooms. Family rooms have separated areas for children's beds. The bathrooms are the ferry style bathrooms so small and basic, but again clean and functional!

The atmosphere is very friendly and the cuisine is very good with home made local specialities. You will be well looked after if you stay here, and Patrick and his team will do everything they can to make sure you spend a great holiday in their hotel!

It is perfectly situated for access to a range of summer activities and in winter is an ideal location for a ski adventure holiday or winter activity holiday with easy access to cross country and downhill skiing pistes and lots of other activities in the vicinity. There is a car park in front of the hotel and many other possibilities to park your car in the village if the car park is full!

The village hosts a regular market every Sunday.

2 × Ensuite Family Suite for Four to Five (sleeps 5)

There are three family suites for four to five.

One has two separate bedrooms (a double bedroom and then a triple bedroom with bunks) and a bathroom with a bath. Unlike the other bathrooms in the hotel, the bathrooms are proper tiled bathrooms, not the ferry style!

The other one is one large room with a double bed, single bed and bunk beds with bathroom with shower and a sun balcony.

The third one has two bedrooms, one double room and one room with bunks and a ferry style bathroom. There is no balcony with this suite.
