This is a classic French hotel situated in the heart of the fortified town of Sisteron. The family run hotel is clean, well-maintained and has recently been fully refurbished.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV and a Wi-Fi connection. All the bedrooms are ensuite with toilet, basin and either a bath or a shower.
There is a large bar and restaurant downstairs where you can buy drinks and food. The restaurant has a buffet style continental breakfast served in the mornings, which can also be ordered to your room. There is a large terrace in front of the hotel where you can taste some of the local specialities in the evenings.
From June to October, this hotel makes a great last leg stopover for mountain bikers on our famous Alps to Provence MTB tour, and it is a great place to finish your trip. The fortified, medieval town is spectacular and is really worth a visit. There are also a wide selection of bars and restaurants in the town. There is also a swimming lake just minutes from the hotel.
