September 2018
We did the Summer Multi-Activity week with our two teenage sons and had a fantastic time. We’d been searching for years to find a holiday that enabled us to do lots of activities without all the hassle of organising them, but that would also allow us to do some activities just as a family as well as in a group situation.
We did river kayaking, canyoning, rafting, horse-riding, e-biking and stayed in a mountain refuge. We enjoyed all the activities and the instructors were all excellent. E-biking in the mountains was great fun and we especially enjoyed the night in the refuge, an experience we’ll never forget. Walking down the mountain early in the morning after our night there – the light, the tranquillity, the nature – it was amazing.
The holiday organisation was brilliant from the moment I picked up the phone with our first enquiry. JB was always happy to give up lots of time to talk through different options and explain everything clearly, and he responded to emails quickly as well. It was great to be able to finally meet him at the briefing when we arrived and that was very thorough too.
We stayed at the Grange des Ecrins which was in a beautiful setting, the hosts there were lovely (nothing was too much trouble for them) and the food was amazing. We met some really nice people while we were there too.
All in all we can’t recommend this holiday enough and only wish we’d found Undiscovered Mountains years ago!
