Hotel Montagnou

The Hotel Montagnou, one of the original hotels in the Orcières ski resort, is a local institution. It is a traditional alpine ski hotel which has been run by the same local family since the 1970's when the resort was created. The Mathieu family is famous for its hospitality and 

The Hotel Montagnou boasts a total of 16 rooms (from the twin room to the family room that can house up to 5 people), all ensuite and equipped with comfortable bedding, a flat screen TV, wardrobe, open shelf storage space and beautiful wooden furniture. 

All these features create a very pleasant and relaxing, chalet-style, atmosphere. The cosiness of the rooms and all facilities make it the perfect place to chill and rest after a great day on the ski pistes of Orcières! 

Since 2017, the hotel is now paired up with its sister hotel next door, called Catrems Hotel. If you choose the breakfast option, please note that the Catrems is where breakfast is served. The Catrems boasts a large dining room with spectacular views over the surrounding snowy mountains of the Ecrins National Park, and serves delicious dinner every evening as well.
