Overview
Undiscovered Mountains exceeded our expectations. We are a family from Australia who travelled in September 2024 with kids aged 16,14,11. The activities were challenging and exhilarating with guides who worked well with families (via ferrata, paragliding, mountain refuge). Sally helped us in the booking process to find the perfect holiday. Jules greeted us on arrival and was only a phone call away.
I was looking for a holiday in France that would provide us with an authentic experience of French culture, an opportunity to practise speaking french if we wanted to, interesting activities for teens and minimal crowds. This ticked those boxes!
La Grange des Ecrins in the small village of Charbottes was the ideal accommodation with amazing kind hosts, incredible cuisine (for vegetarians too), helpful local knowledge, expansive lawns and hidden delights (tree house!) on the property. It was a delight to stay in and we loved coming back to it every night.
