You will be staying in the highest village in Europe, Saint Veran at 2040m, a charming Alpine village surrounded by snow-covered mountains in a beautiful Auberge situated in the heart of the old village.
For the first day there will be a full snowshoeing day exploring and acclimatising to the high mountains and for the final two days of the trip your guide will take you on an overnight adventure snowshoeing tour to an Alpine refuge in the mountains. This is a unique experience and the best way to get away from the crowds and experience the winter paradise all to yourselves!
You need to have a good level of fitness and be used to walking in hilly, uneven terrain with ascent and descent to be able to enjoy this trip.
