A group of seven of us have just returned from a fabulous week of snowshoeing in the Parc des Ecrins, a two hour drive from Grenoble.
The small hotel where we stayed was thought by the whole group to be fantastic in every way: the food ( 4 course evening meal with wine included) and general hospitality was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble.
Bernard, our snowshoeing guide, kept us safe and taught us a lot about the local wildlife.
We will all return next year if possible.
