The Tourond Chalets are charming chalet style apartments based in the ski village of Chaillol 1600.

The views over the surrounding mountains of the Champsaur Valley are spectacular, and you are close to many fantastic walks and most of our activities, both in summer and winter.

The kitchens are fitted with all mod cons and the living rooms are cosy with a wooden chalet deco. All apartments come with a south facing balcony - perfect for basking in the sunshine whilst taking in the magnificent views.

There are various apartments suitable for between 4 and 9 people. They are all fitted with TV and DVD, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, hob and fridge/freezer and have either a terrace or a balcony.

In the summer, there are many walks and bike rides straight from your door, and the lovely "Plan d'Eau du Champsaur" swimming-lake is just 15 minutes away.

In winter you have access to a range of alpine ski pistes in the ski village, as well as cross country ski pistes, snowshoeing routes and husky sledding. Ice climbing is just a short drive away down in the Champsaur valley.

Last but not least, Chaillol is home to one of the most famous music festivals in France. Every summer in July and August, dozens of concerts of all kinds are organised in and around Chaillol and the area welcomes musicians and spectators from all over the world. A real must-see!

The apartment has one double or twin room, a large open plan living area with comfortable double sofa bed, table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchenette (dishwasher, microwave, hob, washing machine, fridge and freezer). It offers a separate toilet and bathroom with shower and a lovely south facing balcony with table and chairs and great views so you can eat outside and admire the mountains! The apartment is a spacious 66m2 duplex 2 bedroomed apartment with one double and one twin bedroom, an open plan living area with a fully fitted kitchenette (dishwasher, microwave, hob, washing machine, fridge and freezer), table and chairs and one comfortable double sofa bed, a mezzanine area with one double sofa bed, two separate toilets and 2 bathrooms with showers, and a South facing terrace with stunning views. Board Options

These apartments are self catering. There is a bar/restaurant in the village as well as a small grocery store.

The medieval village of St Bonnet with a range of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants is a 10 minute drive away.

Policies

Check in is between 16H00 and 19H00 and check out is before 10H00. Please let us know if you will be arriving outside of these hours so we can arrange an early or late entry for you.

Sheets and linens are included at the Tourond Apartments but towels & tea towels are not, so you can either bring your own or ask the owner to provide them (each set of towels costs 5€). Cleaning equipment and toilet rolls are not provided although sometimes previous visitors leave these in the apartment.

Please note that there is an electricity surcharge of 30€ in the summer and 75€ in the winter for this accommodation.

When you check-in, you will be asked for a refundable security deposit of 400€ (only payable in cash). This sum will be returned to you on your departure day on the condition that nothing has been damaged or broken in the accommodation.

All self catering accommodations are rented on the basis that nothing gets broken or damaged during your stay and that the place is in a tidy state at the end of your stay. This means: emptying bins, stripping beds, emptying dishwasher and putting all crockery away and generally leaving the place in an orderly state. Please note that if the accommodation is not left in an acceptable state, the owner reserves the right to deduct a sum from your deposit.
