We visited Ancelle and its beautiful surroundings with a group of Year 8 boys on a school residential trip. It was, without a doubt, the best trip I have ever been on with a school. Sally was a fantastic organiser from start to finish. We unfortunately fell foul of the great Heathrow baggage disaster and arrived with 4 bags out of 21. Sally helped us to travel back to the airport the next day to track down the bags, while rearranging activities so that the boys didn't miss out as well as ferrying them to Decathlon to buy swimwear, without ever losing her smile! The activities were fantastic, from Via Ferrata to Canyoning, a night in the mountain refuge to whitewater rafting. Our hotel was great: wonderful and plentiful food (important when travelling with 13-year-olds) and friendly staff. I am definitely planning to bring my own family here for a holiday after such an enjoyable experience, and we will be back with next year's Year 8 leavers in June 23!
