Overview
We booked a private snowshoeing trip with Undiscovered Mountains. Sally proved to be excellent at arranging the trip to suit our specific needs (and take care of all my food intolerances). She has lived in the Ecrins for over 20 years, is married to a mountain guide, and clearly has a thorough knowledge of the area. We had wanted some high altitude walking in March, so had chosen snowshoeing. For our last day we swapped to touring skis, which was fun!
We were guided by Bernard, who is a charming and expert guide, full of wisdom about the local flora and fauna. Highly recommended.
